Post 184

Since our charter in 1919, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS
from all branches of our Armed Forces.
Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country.

Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community.

Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams,
peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble.
The American Legion is leading a nationwide effort
to eliminate the stigma related to mental health treatment,
and in turn, lower the number of veterans who die by suicide every day.
The number of Veterans who die by suicide every day is estimated at between 16 and 22.
The American Legion has elevated "BE THE ONE" to be its top priority,
empowering Veterans, Servicemembers, their Family Members and civilians
to act appropriately when a Veteran may be at risk.
This website post intends to bring more awareness to the problem
while providing resources to those who may be able to help save the life of a veteran.
24/7, confidential crisis support for Veterans and their loved ones.
You don't have to be emrolled in VA benefits or health care to connect.
DIAL 988 then Press 1
The Goodhue County Veteran Service Officer will be at our Post
every 2nd Monday 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The VSO will be here to assist any veterans with VA or any other service connected questions or needs.
